Buffering or Looping of Channels

  • If you are experiencing channel buffering and/or looping, then you may want to take these steps.

  1. You may want to "Restart" the unit by pressing the "Power" button on the remote and selecting "Restart".

  2. Another issue could be a result that there is an error in the TV app connecting to the video servers.  You can perform a Restore Factory only when advised by a technical advisor. [Restore Factory].  [Settings] > [General] > [About] > [Restore Factory] > [Done] > "OK" on remote.  *Note* during factory installation, please do NOT disconnect the power.  Please read Navigating Menus under Tech Support for visual instructions.

  3. At times, the buffering and/or looping is caused by third party components such as your modem and/or router.  We suggest that you Power Cycle the modem and router per factory instructions.  Typically, disconnecting the power to the modem and/or router for about 30 seconds and reconnecting the power will be Power Cycle the components.

  4. If you are experiencing slow loading of channels, then the issue may be from your internet service provider or you may have multiple devices connected to your network slowing down the network.
